Hate the Bliss (Drugs or Me alternate) Lyrics
‘Til my dad gets home
‘Til my dad gets home
Stay with me
Keep my heart
Where the drugs don’t go
Where your drugs don’t go
Keep me close
I want this desperately
We all end up shaking for our love
We all end up shaking in love
We’ll dig a great big hole
Down an endless hall
We’ll both go
You love through anytime
You love through anytime
I won’t let you go tonight
I want this desperately
We all end up shaking for our love
We all end up shaking in love
So far
Where the drugs don’t go
Where your drugs don’t go
I won’t let you go tonight
Wow this is so different! well the lyrics of course and I like it but it prefer the final version of Drugs or Me it has more emotion and more meaning.
this is a demo of drugs or me. you can find it on the futures - mark trombino session cd. ask in the j.e.w official forums where to find it.
Is it just me, or do the drug addiction undertones apply to this song. The line "we all end up shaking for our love, we all end up shaking in love" makes me think of withdrawal symptoms. My cousin is a recovering heroin addict and he said the only thing that keeps him from going back is that instead of making withdrawal easier with drugs or therapy, he forced himself to feel the pain, and involuntary shakes, because it made him realize that he never wanted to feel that way again. and the "stay with me til my dad gets home" makes it seem as though the narrator of the song is young, high schoolish age.
