Big Cars Lyrics

it's not a dream watch your lips move but can't hear
i can see everything else is unclear
camera's on fixed on one face and on tears
what a scene
fly us in and you'll all cheer
if there's something wrong you just press delete

your family can sleep well tonight
we're a long long way
until all the good names for your big cars will be used

i can't believe there's so much love that we all share
so lie to me all i know is i don't care
if there's something wrong you just press delete
all the journalists say we'll have time to eat

your family can sleep well tonight
we're a long long way
until all the good names for your big cars will be used

This song seems to be like they start out in a helicopter going to a show, they can see all of the peole below going crazy for them, but can't hear them, they can see the people, but can't understand what they're saying and what not, there are cameras taking pictures and the media being a bitch as always, I think that this song is about the media and the way that the society is centered around the celebrities, and it is only a facade covering up a machine which is based on lies, materialism, competition, and fake/unfounded relationships. This song seems to be to me about our disposable society focused on self, and the oblivious nature of the majority of our society who only see, think, believe, and hear what they want to.
