Houses Lyrics

[Call around and gone]
To marry if you can
See all the houses you built there
The sun warms my mind
The moon cools my toes
All of these memories hold meaning.

Never mind the world
When I’m laying by the pool
I know I’m feeling lazy
And I need to see the world.

Wondering in the night
If my car can still drive
All the days never been longer
The sun warms my mind
The moon cools my toes
All of these memories lose meaning

Never mind the world
When you think it’s right in front of you
I know they think I’m crazy
And believe I need a girl

Huh-huh-uh-oh-oh-oh...

Another sleepless night
The idea of a perfect life
How many more minds can one house hold
The sun warms my mind
The moon cools my toes
All the days never been longer

Never mind the world
When you laid by the pool
I thought that I was crazy
All along it was just a girl

Do do do do...

I can't believe nobody has commented on this song.

I think it's about a guy who is always being reprimanded for not having a girlfriend of some sort by his relatives but he'd rather just relax and think about his perfect girl instead.

Just my idea anyway. This song always makes me happy.

Wow I had trouble trying to make sense of this song, as beautiful as it is. But I agree with Tack-o-Rama now I've re-read over it.

This songs reminds me of myself. I often get in the habit of imagining a perfect life/relationship for myself instead of actually living and trying to accomplish it.

Love those lyrics. Warm fuzzy feeling all over. :)

This song is gay. But it's awesome, I guess.
