Sinatra Lyrics

Now I know what I need to do
Become the man I believe I am
Now I know that I’ve got to try
To become a man
Lay down in the quiet
Love my girl, get a job, feed the world, choose a god

Is there something I should know now
To make it work tomorrow
Cause its night and I fear the wolf
He says one thing but does another
Never wanted the blood
Now I can see the day
Now that I've buried my life away
Can I dig it out again?

Believe in all the good things you keep inside
There is no freedom in life without freedom of mind
I find myself running from fate
Whether or not I'm haunted by circumstance
Every day, rearranging

Wind and waves and the cool of a muted sound
Remembering a reason to be born
Taking back the hope that men destroy
Oh buried your life when you can fill it up with joy

Believe in all the good things you keep inside
There is no freedom in life without freedom of mind
I find myself running from fate
Whether or not I'm haunted by circumstance
Every day rearranging

Wind and waves and the cool of a moon-lit sound
Hole in the cloud from the tears of faded crowds
Remembering a reason to be born
Taking back the fight with or without cause
Oh I can bury my life when I can fill it up with joy
I can't bury my life when I know you have the choice

Believe in all the good things you keep inside
There is no freedom in life without freedom of mind

I think he's saying it's time for him to settle down, stop touring so much, and become a "real person" again, instead of some kind of rock star persona. he's saying he's not whatever anybody thinks or says he is, he's just himself. just another human, free to think and do and be whoever he pleases.
