Save Me From Me

This is definitely one of my favorite Amber Pacific songs.

Mine too. It's catchy and great, the kind you can listen to over and over. I love the chorus. "I'll try to breathe for you" and "You could be all I need" are my favorite lines.

I really like this song but i have no clue what its about...

To me, it's an unrequited love song, or a lost love song. The person who the song is about doesn't want the person who's singing it any more, or they're seriously messing with them. I can relate to this song, and it's one of Amber Pacific's best.

i can relate to this song too. its about two people and one of them really likes the other one and the other one sometimes likes them and sometimes doesn't and its seriously messed. and now the person is starting to give up hope that the other could have been the one to help them through everything else they were going through. "i'm giving up the hope that you could have been the one to save me from me"

for me, i've liked my ex ever since he dumped me and for about 5 months he's liked me (or so everyone else says and he makes it seem like) but nothing ever happend and i was so conviced that something would happen, but at his party all of a sudden he changed his mind and just likes me as a friend. and now he'll probably go back to making fun of me like at the beginning of the year.

so basically the moral of the song is dont get your hopes up too high cause people just suck in general and they'll do all sorts of things to mess with you.

Amber Pacific is part of the Take Action Tour which is for suicide prevention and when they came to Richmond they sang it and said it is about suicide.

the pain isn't specific in this, it can be interpreted as anything the person doesn't want people to know. Be it hung up on a ex, or drugs, or being gay, whichever. But whatever it is, the person is on the brink of giving up on life, and then he finds someone who he thinks might be able to get him to forget or stop whatever it is that's keeping him down. But now he's starting to doubt that this new person will actually get him to stop whatever it was. And he's starting to lead back into it.

More insight on "the pain". The way it makes me me. That means that whatever it is effects everything he does. Which i think is pretty cool way of saying it. Be it an ex-girl who he can't meet a new girl. Or alcohol or drugs, making him have to have it. Or being gay, having to fake when the boys are at it. But if you lost that that, what would you be? Since it has become you, yet no one knows it.
