Regardless though, in terms of the song itself, yes it is repetitive, such is the point, some artforms actually rely heavily upon the concept of repetition to enforce a point, slight variations to add flavour.

In the end it's true though, regardless of any self-made divisions, we all live, and we all die. We suffer and we feel joy. Well most of us do, I'm sure there's a few people that're miserable in general just for the sake of feeling miserable.

Oddly enough it actually reminds me of lyrics from another song, Fleetwood Mac of all artists...

"There's two kinds of trouble in this world: Living, dying"

Pretty much sums up the whole thing, and can be more or less applied to this one as well. For the good and the bad, we are pretty much stuck in the same situations, even if they seem different it's just variations on a theme.

Of course, meanings aside, it's still a nice song to listen to simply for the sake of enjoying that as well. Speed metal, goth-tec, trance, new age, pop, it doesn't matter really, every music has a mood and personality it matches, and in the end, I don't think anyone can say they 'hate music' as a whole, because then they could just listen to something depressing instead. So in the end, guess we really are all in this together after all.

This is a stupid song that only stupid people enjoy.

It's about a man who doesn't understand long division (apparently it "doesn't matter") trying to explain his interpretation of the universe in the only way he knows how: by combining simple, repetitive music with lyrics a preteen girl wrote down during her lunch period.

Not only does assume quantum physics has some relation to maintaining good relations between humans (it doesn't), he also makes the absurd claim that if two people are made of atoms that they are therefore obligated BY SCIENCE to love and respect one another. Which is, simply put, a gigantic load of bullshit. And since Mr. Lee probably didn't even pass high-school chemistry, I don't understand why he has the tenacity to make these claims, or why anyone would interpret them as deep and meaningful lyrics.

In conclusion Ben Lee is an idiot and he looks funny.

This song covers so many angles. Racial tolerance. Religious tolerance.
It seems mostly about a person who wants to start taking care of others because he realizes that we're all the same, but people just won't allow it to happen because they find it hard to belive anyone would be looking out for them. I really like the idea that you don't have to be lonely if you don't want to be, because there is someone out there who will cry with you, or help you, because they know we're all stuck on this crazy, mixed-up planet and unless there is a major advance in rocket science, we're stuck here together for a while, so we might as well get along and make each other happy.

i love to listen to this song when i'm upset. it makes you think about things that really matter.

this song is like a warm winter drink, or a hug from ya mum lol! It just makes all the bad stuff go away lol...its awesome and the beat is so monotone and so awesome, so calming lol....SO friggn awesome i am in love with it! Mwah xx

hehe, this is the theme song of our grade this year, because we're graduating, and even though it gets in everyones head and annoys the hell out of us, it still makes me feel awsome everytime i heard the opening note, definately a feel good song. seriously, we were woken up, at camp, at 6 in the morning, played this song, and told that we were walking up a massive mountain, before breakfast, and i still love it, so if its been tested that much its gotta be good! xXx
