It seems mostly about a person who wants to start taking care of others because he realizes that we're all the same, but people just won't allow it to happen because they find it hard to belive anyone would be looking out for them.
I really like the idea that you don't have to be lonely if you don't want to be, because there is someone out there who will cry with you, or help you, because they know we're all stuck on this crazy, mixed-up planet and unless there is a major advance in rocket science, we're stuck here together for a while, so we might as well get along and make each other happy.
