Pretty straightforward, everybody has regrets about the things that they've done.

"Fade into a dream Try and save me from myself now Save me from myself now Fallen from the world If I could ever breathe in the Air maybe then I wouldn't suffocate"

Trying to get away from it all, trying to avoid it - falling into a dream and away from the world. When a lot happens at once, feels like it's all rushing by and even though the air is there you just can't seem to breathe and it's suffocating.

Like all things Sevendust I love this song, one of my favorites.
