Everyone (Moving On) Lyrics

I believe what you say
I believe what you do
I believe what you do is for the good of everyone

I didn’t think I could change
I thought I’d always stay the same
I’m wide awake on the train back to you
The only one

It’s the same everyday now, moving on
And though I don’t know the way now, I walk on

I’ve found a new way to feel
I’ve got an old wound to heal
Now I wake on the ground
And hear the sound of everyone

Somebody please, won’t you show me the way?

And though I don’t know the way now, I walk on
It’s the same everyday now

Moving on…

i think that this song is about two people being in a realationship and then she decides to end it ('i believe what you do is for the good of everyone').
he belives that she is the one for him ('back to you, the only one'). he has been so used to having her around that he doen't know what to do without her and it's not a feeling that will go away ('it’s the same everyday now, moving on and though I don’t know the way now, i walk on') towards the end of the song he still hurts for her but finds a way to cope without her but (i’ve found a new way to feel, i've got an old wound to heal') he is moving on from her but feels he still needs someone to take her place or at least guide him ('now I wake on the ground and hear the sound of everyone. somebody please, won’t you show me the way?') i am not sure if that is right. if it's not, feel free to correct me. either way it's a beautiful song that almost anyone can relate to. love evermore. xoxox
