Louis XIV Lyrics

Well I’m a, weapon of mass destruction
got no apologies for a hyper-concussion
I might, swap your identity
take pure love and turn it in to obscenity

You say that I don’t care about
All the little things that you care about
Oh you think that I don’t care about
All little things that make you wanna shout

Oh, me me me me is all you say that I care about
Well, me me me me is all I ever wanna talk about
Me me me me is what you think that I care about
Me me me me is all I really wanna talk about

I’ll steal your soul
Put you in a club in Cleveland

well I’m a poll-toned blue-collar human psychology
when I need a fix I don’t need no apology
and all the kids on the street,
they think I’m me me me me me

well, me me me me is all you think that I care about
me me me me is all I ever wanna talk about
Me me me me is what you think that I care about
Me me me me is all I ever wanna talk about!

who’s your daddy?

this band can simply play good music. it is refreshing to hear just straight up simple rock with catchy lyrics. their two instrumentals on their first self-titled cd are proof to this band's talent if you are one of those who need to hear complicated riffs and mind blowing bridges in order to appreciate the music. with louis xiv, just accept them as excellent (and wierd) rockers. great opening song.

Selfish people are the most entertaining. This song is so self-centered, they named it after themselves. I LOVE THIS BAND! How can someone not like a song that revolves totally around themselves?

I think it's partially a historical allusion... King Louis XIV was known for being vain and self centered. ("L'etat, c'est moi" was his catchphrase... that means "I am the state")

I do love this song though. It's so awesome.

"and all the kids on the street, they think I’m me me me me me"

I think that's wrong, and the correct version is:

and all the kids on the street, they think I’m neat, neat, neat, neat.

it is neat^^

and yeah amazing song.

meant to be ironic though. the whole album is.
