I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice
Still I can't seem to look at you
I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice

Put on gloves
The watch going
the phone rings off
In the car lurking
See me through the window and
you lay down on your bed

I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice
Still I can't seem to look at you
I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice
(If I'm getting to you)

'Cause I'm loose slide
a knife through
Back door locked bolt through
Sleeping softly, holding pillows
tightly in your arms
I sneak up without a sound
down the hall to your bedroom
Twist the knob stand above you
as you lay there in your bed

I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice
Still I can't seem to look at you
I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice

I took off all your clothes
see all your face
until the pillow slightly saw you
or
into the pillow sllighty silent?
as you breathe gasping holding air tight like it's your last
put my hand on your mouth
feel your lips on my fingers
smell your sweat
you're looking lovely my possesion

Again. Shadows up
The watch going
phone rings off
Car lurking
See me through the window and
you lay down on your bed

I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice

I think I screwed up a lot of this. I had just heard the song; but I really enjoyed it.

    Corrections are more than welcome.

it's so hard to understand what he says cuz he speaks so fast but i'm pretty sure he says "(IF i'm getting to you)" in the chorus..

i'm totally sure the first verse begins with "PUT ON GLOVES" then i dunno "slide a knife (..?..) of the backdoor unlocked (...?) as you're sleeping softly and holding pillows tightly in your arms"

then in the second verse i hear something like

"as you breathe, gasping, holding it tight like it should last put my hand on your mouth, feel your lips on my fingers Smell your sweat, you look so lovely in my possession"

Yeah it is a very sexy song... oddly enough. I love it. Thanks for the corrections. I'm still not 100% everything is right up there. I'm hoping to buy a CD by 'em soon. I've falling in love with them. [:

I had a guy cyber stalk me and it was completely unsettling and traumatic.

This song reminds me of that frightening experience.

There are creepy men out there for sure.
I have been stalked before by one. Once in college I had a guy totally become addicted to me. It was freaky as hell. I needed to file a restraining order.

Now I have experienced a more grey area stalker.
Part love, part obsession. Part he cared for me, part he wanted to BE me. Part he hates women.. (Or is a giant misogynist.) Part HE IS MY FRIEND. Actually, it is all pretty complicated.

And I loved him. How do you figure all of THAT out? You don't. And who cares. You just watch your own back. And hope he is in the friend mode....

yeah well this jesus was stalked "cyber-style" by her gay pal whose eyes used to be glued to her in reality. (ahaha! it was highlarious! i kep asking HEY are you tryin to fuck on me?) i guess he led me here to show me what a kooky non-conformist he is (in every sense of the word! he is so DIFFERENT!). he made me "dance" with him on the internet to tell me that he never wanted to dance with me. and why? cuz he is a wild and bizarre sexual deviate. (the rest of us just like our sex boring, pally.) even though i never saw any evidence of this in "reality" - but maybe some people simply like to discuss their sexcapades on the computer... so he and merle haggard and cap'n kangaroo like to go camping with the boy scouts. thanks for bringing me here to tell me.

My idol, Lezlie Chow, what does he say? thanks alot, bitches!

I love this song SO much! Why? Because some freak and his "girls" stalked me and then had the "balls" to tell someone I LOVE that I was the stalker. Let's have a cuppa coffee bitches and discuss WHO is the REAL stalker (as in REALITY).

Hell, I am good natured. I have many, many friends who love me. Why? I don't lie, #1. I think they have many other reasons for loving me as much as they do, but I don't wanna toot my own horn. I mean, not to be the ego-queen but I've got ALOT of BFs. They each mean so much to me. We've all helped each other through so many crazy experiences through the years. Many of us have grown up together. Some are musicians, some are lawyers and some are just cool and creative without getting paid for it. I feel so lucky to have so many amazing friends (okay well, it IS a small town) who have helped me through this weird stalking experience.

Lesson here is DON'T STALK PEOPLE AND BE WEIRD AND SHIT.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
