This song showcases Delta's voice amazingly.. plus it's easy to relate to the words. Everyone feels that vulnerable and lonely sometimes!
Yep gotta agree 100% with you there, it is a very poignant film, probably especially for Delta at the time she wrote this. Just expresses her ability to be strong and weak at the same time.

This song, IMO, is just basically singing about that terrible feeling of fragility and vulnerability you feel after or during a tough event in your life.
I know this song for a long time now and I kinda agree with Dark Pooyan. Though to me this song is also more about basic high sensitivity. As I am HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) myself the feelings this song bring up are those of constantly having to meet up with the great big world outside, and having to deal with all the feelings of everyone in that world around you. The lines 'Six thoughts at once, I can't focus on one' and 'So caught in emotion that I'm overcome' says pretty much everything really.
