Ok, i've heard several versions of this song. and none of them has a "the" before Seif Al Din and there shouldn't be because it's actually a name. A name of many islamic leaders apparently. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saif_al-Din .and there are some "typos" in here i thought it was the writer but it's actually printed that way on the album -whose faithful belief? -illa allah 2 seperate words as for the interpretation i think the lyrics are crystal clear they kinda say it all it's not about fundementalism. It's about people who twist the words of holy scripts to try to justify their actions thus gaining power. and they do that by taking one part out of context and ignoring the rest. and it goes for every religion,
This one's kind of like facade of reality. it's about Muslim terrorists and 9/11 (origin of a dogma placed in a new millennium). The arabic at the end is the Islamic creed (there is no god but Allah) and "Mohammed is the prophet of Allah" or something like that.

"La Illah Illallah, Mohammed rasul Allah," in English is "There is no god but Allah, Mohammed is the messenger of Allah." This song is about militant Islamists and how such religious extremism doesn't belong in this time ("The origin of a dogma, / Placed in a new millennium, / Vilified demons have been embraced, / And given a warm welcome."), much less does religion to begin with. Great song, and great lyrics, and amazing band! I love you guys, Epica! <3
