In a dream I spent the day with you
In a carriage bought by blood.
The clouds were singing songs of fear and loss;
And they cut me down to size.
And they cut me down to size.

Broken wings
Have a home tonight.
No one is listening, no one is listening.
When darkness fell on the streets last night,
We never expected, we never expected this.

In a perfect world, I'd never know your name,
And do we even know it when we die?
Or will death just pass us by?
Will death just pass us by?
Please just pass us by.

Broken wings
Have a home tonight.
No one is listening, no one is listening.
When darkness fell on the streets last night,
We never expected, we never expected this.

When all this pain is justified,
While all the time is passing by.
Now is when we clench our fists
Knowing we can fight through this.
The hours and days are gone.
The weeks and months are moving on.
Can't they see that's nothing gonna stop us now?

Broken wings
Have a home tonight.
No one is listening, no one is listening.
When darkness fell on the streets last night,
we never expected, we never expected this.

Yes, It's about the drummer Scott... He died April 10th...The band will still carry on however. It's so sad...makes me extremely sad listening to the song now. It's beautiful. RIP Scott. "Broken wings have a home tonight." I love that line.

jeez this is song is amazing. sad yes . but dear god i love it. written about scott obviosly. "In a perfect world, I’d never know your name" i also thought that line meant like...in a perfect world he wouldn't have known him, he would have just been a stranger, and he woulnd't have to go through all this, but instead because like brothers and has to deal with his sickness..and death eventually

I saw Bleed the Dream last week at the Warped tour and earlier in march while they were on Taste of Chaos. Both times I have heard them play this song live they put so much energy and emotion into it. Even though their crowd was fairly small at Warped they got everyone that knew the words singing along. I don't think I really have a point... but whatever

before they played this song tonight...they were like this is for anyone who came her with a parent, friend, or best friend...they are here today, but you never know when they will be taken away from you and then he pointed to the sky and said RIP Scott...it gave me chills throughout the song and i seriously was close to crying...so sad...

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
