I always laugh when I read the discussions of bands that fall under the punk category. You always have some asshole saying "I think this song is about hating cops!" and some other asshole complaining that the band isn't punk.

Anyway, the music is absolutely fantastic, the vocals are killer, this song pumps me up and moves me and that's what music should be about. I don't care if cops are crooked or not, or if LOC is punk or not. If a band can move a person, they are worthy of existance. That's the way I see it.

I think this song is about how cops suck. and they do. and how about this govenment in general sucks, and how everything around the world is out of control thanks to us:

I love this fucking song. It's riduculous that we've gotten to the point where innocent people must live their lives in fear of these henchmen in blue. And chances are when a REAL crime is being committed, they won't be there to help. Politicians continue to pump out legislation that inhibits our freedom and privacy, and the cops carry out their dirty work - punishing those who don't abide by their moral ideology. The policia are too fucking intrusive and it's allowing innocent people to get killed or go to prison.

This song is telling people to get up and stop letting cops harass you just because they've got the bullets and think they should tell you what you can or can't do.

police arn't bad here as i just realized... but thats all i have seen cause i am never caught doing anything that i shouldn't be doing... but there has been the odd times where they have favoured the "clean cut" assholes... like thisone time my friend got fag bashed for being BI witch to me shouldn't be a fucking problem... but my some one wittnessed it and called the cops... and guess who they thought started the fucking fight... fuck it gets to the point where we cant walk the streets now that we know that the cops will have nothing to do with us cause were poor and cause we live off welfare and how we dress... its fucked... they are too fucking stupid to see the real reasons... this song is great. the shout along vocals and the skank it up rhythm make this one of the best songs on the new album.

in the second verse it says "POLITRIX" not politics... Ezra who sings this verse has been known to use the word politrix (there is a pic on the morning glory site where it says politrix) just like he says politikill instead politcal

I totally agree that cops often are cruel and mindless bastards, because of the termless power they have in their hands. But what would happen if policia were pushed aside from the streets? The criminal world would burst into blossom. Chaos, fear and crime would be the new worldwide regime. IMHO, it'd be wiser to think of some improvement, some diplomatic give-and-take, instead of a forthright fight. Yes, cops ARE fucktards, but we just can't cancel/kill (?) them until there ain't a better replacement. Anyway, brilliant song! ;)
