The Bazaar Lyrics
silence swimming in a pool of dreams
beneath its depths the forgotten streams
above, the city of the evening star
behind its walls, the grand bazaar
as she walks through its endless maze
cursing those who mistrust her ways
please my friend no matter what she sees
tell my lover come back to me
doorways spilling out their sombre light
casting shadows that will raid the night
along the alleys of her ruling fears
walk the visions that will cause her tears
lying still as she wills her glance
through the eyes of a charmers trance
please my friend no matter what she sees
tell my lover come back to me
and on the walls
shadows play
twilight souls
anguished ways
lost adrift
severed seas
i await you
come to me
beneath its depths the forgotten streams
above, the city of the evening star
behind its walls, the grand bazaar
as she walks through its endless maze
cursing those who mistrust her ways
please my friend no matter what she sees
tell my lover come back to me
casting shadows that will raid the night
along the alleys of her ruling fears
walk the visions that will cause her tears
lying still as she wills her glance
through the eyes of a charmers trance
please my friend no matter what she sees
tell my lover come back to me
shadows play
twilight souls
anguished ways
lost adrift
severed seas
i await you
come to me

Ha, ha, wow I love this song. I heard it for the first time in years the other days. A bazaar is basically an exotic flea market but I know the song is trying to send some sort of message home though symbolism. The message? I'm not so sure...
I interpret it as a woman (the narrator's lover) who is lost / struggling to find her way through the hurdles and obstacles of love. The narrator is hoping to help guide her through these and uses a bazaar (a massive market with many side streets, stalls, etc.) to find him and their love.
The bazaar metaphor could also play on that she may be tempted by other "products" (men) on offer, and not select the narrator. So the narrator is also hoping she finds her way through it all to him.
Ayahuasca. Salvia Divinorum. Peyote. Daytura. Or natural trance.
TL;DR: she's tripping and he's hoping she doesn't leave him when the trip ends.
She's being led by a guide, holy/medicine man or shaman (or possibly someone playing the role of shaman) on a ritual, vision quest, trip, whatever you want to call it.
Not for the feint hearted, as she is probably dealing with a whole bunch of stuff from her past, her daemons, etc, which at times might show up as tricksters, ethereal beings, shadows etc. She's in the maze which is her mind, and the goal is to solve it or find peace with it. The ritual may be being held somewhere in a bazaar, the bazaar might be referring to the maze of her mind, or possibly both.
Our protagonist isn't "in there" with her, he's in the earthly realm, imploring the guide "Please, my friend" to make sure she comes back safely, and presumably that nothing in there "no matter what she sees" makes her come back wanting to leave him..."tell my lover come back to me".
"no matter what she sees".
