immortal technique disintegrates mics when i spit
i cause more casualties than sunken slave ships
fulled to capacity, i bring tragedy to rap
without my man qaddafi
the government took nazi scientists from germany
to design nuclear rockets, and ways of observing me
cuz their pathetic attempts didnt work to murder me
when this country was concesed, bastards never heard of me
but now i hold the souls of slave masters eternally
bleeding internally, burgundy, during surgery verbally
cuz im a spirit to it, devils are incompatible
i been around since the planet was inhabitable
i spit in the ocean and created microscopic animals
which evolved into two species, the righteous and the cannibals
but until then, i had alien women suck me off
when god said let there be light, i turned it the fuck off
and thats the reason earth is only 5 billion years old
i made the sunshine and permitted time to unfold
the surface was lava, but when i stepped down it became cold
fuck what you been told
my spiritual form become a swarm of molecule sickness
manifested liquid trapped inside a mountainous region
until the skies started raining continuous seasons
immortal technique at long last reincarnated
undebatably reinstated to leave you decapitated
just sweet food but my crazy words make sense
i split every pound in your body into 6 pence
im sick of simple similes about the 6th sense
i`ll leave your body drenched in the blood from all your ancestors
you`ll never be in peace like the souls of child molesters
i`ll cut you and bless your festering wounds with alcohol
drown you in a clogged toilet in a public bathroom stall
i`ll rip you down and take a chunk of you home like the berlin wall
this is the final call for all rappers that wanna brawl
immortal technique the wrong motherfucker to diss
cuz i allow god to let you motherfuckers exist

im the strong hold on your neck that doesnt let you breathe
stronger than the fake image of god in which you believe
more dangerous than your ignorant ass could ever perceive
a european virus mutated in africa overseas
transported by mosquitos and fleas to where you live
so lock yourself in your house with your wife and your kids
you`re such a bitch, somebody probably made you out of a rib
my arrest record just scratches the surface of what i did
my bit locked me up and brought my life to an end
i was forgotten, abandoned by my bitches and friends
you dont want beef with people like me, so dont pretend
i`ll resurrect your aborted baby and kill it again
you get no props in hip hop like feminine men
im iller than any plague that god gave moses to send
you wanna make amends cuz im the reason that the earth shakes
burying your fam like central american earthquakes
immortal technique, harlem to canada
i`ll lyrically damage ya

This song does have a meaning yall just in case you dont know what hes talkin about. He's talking about his spirit, his motive, his beliefs, and his determination for revolution. That spirit that lies within him is what is causing all the havoc that you hear in sayin like...

the government took nazi scientists from germany to design nuclear rockets, and ways of observing me cuz their pathetic attempts didnt work to murder me when this country was concesed, bastards never heard of me but now i hold the souls of slave masters eternally bleeding internally, burgundy, during surgery verbally cuz im a spirit to it, devils are incompatible i been around since the planet was inhabitable i spit in the ocean and created microscopic animals which evolved into two species, the righteous and the cannibals

The way he thinks and the way he looks at the world is what separates the good from the bad, the riders from the punks, the right from the wrong, and the real and the fake. I dont feel I have to express the meaning to this any further but there is more elaborating that I could do. Bottom line Tech is a genius, whether you like it or not and the revolution is coming...silently J.J MiC

This song gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. And it leaves me feeling good, you know. I can never explain in words what this song does to me, but it is awesome. I am yet to hear anything, any type of song that can do what this song does.

IT is clearly an amazing lyracist. I think this whole track is basically a flex rhyme. Just hyping himself up but stayed intellectual in his way of going about it. In my books he can honestly do no wrong.. but thats just me lol

he said that he "can do no wrong" not "no harm"

Immortal Technique is great. Industrial Revolution and Bin Laden are my favorites.

other rap groups of this vein: The Coup, Dead Prez, Paris, Jedi Mind Tricks

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
