Good song. =P. And I think this song means that she's supposed to be an angel, but something devilish inside her is growing.

i think it means people expect alot of her, to be their "angel" . but she has some issues deep down that people arent aware of and are well taking over her i guess

Utada said in an MTV interview that it meant a lot about her break into the American Music industry. She knows that amongst the major pop icons such as Britney, Christina, or Kelly, she will be virtually unheard of. However, she still has just as much to offer.

Whoa, I just copied those lyrics from above, but I don't think it mentions the word "shirts" in that line.

Correction: "'Cause you don't know the shirts you're busy reading labels" should read: "You don't know 'cause you're too busy reading labels."

I was listening to this song in the car and my mom stopped it and played the intro again, saying that it sounded familiar. She seems to think the background (minus the drums and right before the synthesizer comes in) is from the cave in the Zelda game on the regular Nintendo. What do you guys think?

this is so my song, its about how everyone looks at her like she is really innocent and young. But there is a "devil" inside of her that isnt so good.

Its pretty much self explanitary that she is saying she is growing up and not as innocent as she may look.

this is my fav song by her, I love everything about it, It reminds me of me. And I especally love the music behind it haha.
