Easy Breezy Lyrics

I still remember the ways that you touched me
Now I know I don’t mean anything to you
You’re easy breezy and I’m Japanesey
Soon you’ll mean exactly nothing to me
And that means…

You look stupid, telling all your friends how you got the best of me
I intended to share the pleasure only
Now I look stupid, we’re living in a world with a lot of pressure
It’s quite unneeded to put more pressure on me

You came and went and left my house like a breeze just passing by
Hello goodbye you left a note saying it twas nice stopping by
I should have never ever let you inside

I still remember the ways that you touched me
Now I know I don’t mean anything to you
You’re easy breezey and I’m Japanesey
Soon you’ll mean exactly nothing to me
Does that mean anything to you?

Easy breezy, do you whistle to hide that you’re feeling lonely ??
How do I breathe with all this pressure on me?
Easy breezy, when you wretsle you know that you hurt somebody
How do I breathe with all this pressure on me?

You came and went and left my house like a breeze just passing by
Konnichiwa sayonara it twas nice of you to stop by
Would it amuse you if I told you that I

*I still remember the ways that you touched me
Now I know I don’t mean anything to you
You’re easy breezy and I’m Japanesey
Soon you’ll mean exactly nothing to me
Does that mean anything to you?

You're easy breezy and I'm Japanesey
She's got a new microphone...

She doesn't need you anymore..

I dont know why you all criticize her, this song is funny, fun, a good beat, I think Utada Hikaru is one of the most amazing people out there, Im from the US Im suprised shes not big hear, shes got a one in a life time voice, amazing talent, not to mention she is so beautiful live, I do think it talks about her being left in the dust after that one night stand, but I think shes too cute for words, I luv Utada Hikaru's music =]

Okay I see where you guys are coming from, but I think this is overreacting here. That they're not very deep lyrics doesn't mean the song's a travesty, or the song is disappointing, or the lyrics are crappy.

By the way, I don't think the lyrics are that bad at all, for what she was trying to portray with them I think they're pretty good. Maybe the thing she was trying to portray in itself doesn't do it for many of you, but that's another story.

I used to not get this lyrics (I can't see how I managed that anymore now but blah), but I've been told (and have come to agree) that the "Japanesey" is what this guy she liked called her to his friends, obviously - and "she's got a new microphone" is what she imagines he says to his friends in defense to this very song, because he's afraid they'll laugh at him because she tells him how it is with him, and he wants to make sure she's looked at as ridiculous instead of him, thus in a "oh, she's got a new microphone, bravo" kind of way :) Yes, it's trivial and silly, but I think it's clever at the same time.

I also like how she calls what he did to her in general 'putting more pressure on her' (singular quotation marks since it's no literal quote), which is "quite unneeded" :P

In the Japanese Magazine What's In, she said something along the lines of the lyrics obviously are a 'gag' fashion, and that she's making a joke out of her own Japanese-ness.

I think it's about sex and the guy being easy & only being a one night stand.

Just look at all the lyrics and interpret it that way and it will make sense.

"I shoud've never ever let you inside"

It's such a ridiculous song, especially with the lyrics: "You're easy breezy and I'm Japanesey"...yeah, it's not exactly original or thoughtful...It's catchy as hell though.

I agree with raysreality, this son is very ridiculous. How does she expect to get big in the U.S. with this crap? She should stay in Japan, the joke is on her.
