Write This Down Lyrics
write this down
remember every word
you're not the things they told you
way back then
you're so much more
than ideas in your head
so bury them
and keep them so they can return when you're alone
and so that you can fight them
in the end
boy you know i'm sick and tired
of healing all your pain
it's time for you to know the truth
and cast your cares away
and i'm so sorry
it took too long to let you know
that it's alright and it's okay
cuz they mean nothing anyway
so you say that you're so alone
well loneliness is all you get
so get used to it

Another awesome song by Cartel... why don't more people listen to them?
i have no clue!.. they are really upbeat and catchy
yesh they certainly are aren't they =P
This song is amazing. and i don't know why more people dont listen to them. if people in the world are like my brother then its because they're "Emo and Gay" but they arent...they have some very good songs.
This song is about a situation a lot of "nice guys" can relate to, about somebody coming to them when they feel down just to hear some friendly compliments to make them feel better. This song calls out against that behavior, he is basically saying "I'm sick of you using me to feel better about yourself, so write down the words I say and keep them because this is the last time I've ever going to repeat them."
This is probably my favorite Cartel song (especially those "ooo's" before the chorus) and I can definately see them hitting the mainstream in the not-too-distant future.
def the best cartel song ever made.
I agree with you RockXWL, but I also think he is telling this girl she is great. She obviously has some insecurities and keeps running to this guy to make her feel better though. Seems as though hes saying, get over it, your great I've you told you, But i'm done dealing with your insecurities.

This song is obviously about a guy who has always helped this other person out but when actually this guy just needs to take it to heart and stop listening to bad things that may be said. The guy writing it feels bad that these things keep happening but he can't keep helping him.
