Luckie St. Lyrics

let's count the days
til winter comes our way
we're all tired and ready to breathe
and there's a rumor that there's
a bitter cold chill in the air
it's haunting every breath we take
the hint of alcohol and nicotine
it keeps us warm inside
so all your fashion sense aware
the sweaters unfold themselves
we are all alone
but we're better off by ourselves

it's time to roll the windows down
and feel the cold air all around
we are heading out of town
and not a thing can stop us now
get carried away

let's think about
all those nights on luckie st.
we stayed up til 3 am
with all the gossip and the latest girls
there's a bitter cold chill in the air
it's haunting every breath we take
the hint of alcohol and nicotine
it keeps us warm inside
so all your fashion sense aware
the sweaters unfold themselves
we are all alone
but we're better off by ourselves

this winter is much like all the rest
this season's changed
since we've been away

This is the best emo-esque song ever. It is so catchy and passionate. Best thing about it, it's SINGING. Nothing fake like Simple Plan and Good Charlotte. Listen to the pre-chorus. That poor guy's spilling his lungs for you guys. Do your ears a favor, listen to this song!

awesome song...awesome band. awesome show. lucky to see them in their hometown (and mine) of Atlanta. In my opinion they were better than the headliners TSL (taking nothing from the starting line. cartel just brought it down) Best concert ive been to. go see them...

AMAZING LIVE!!! This song gives me a very nostalgic feeling. It's so beautiful. Why has Cartel NOT broken mainstream!!!???

the only chance I got to see Cartel was at Warped Tour the year before last. I did meet the drummer and talked to him for a split second, but I didnt get to see them perform due to being sick and throwing up everywhere (not fun, lol)

I love the fact the name of this song is called Luckie Street. (for those not from Georgia, its where the Tabernacle/cotton club, one of the best plays for shows, is located)
