Zapatista, Don't Give Up Lyrics
And yup I think that's got untied
Big day, big day planned out that night
Improverished mayan armies fight
Against the fearless capitalist might
Still they fight,
For their rights,
Organize!!!
Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh
Revolution
Revolt!!!
Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh
Revolution
Revolt!!!
Lightning, lightning ferments the rain
Conquistador invades their plain
They fucked the rich, took back their land
United as one now they stand
On their land,
Untied hands,
Marco's plan!!!
Oh-Oh-Oh
Revolution
Revolt!!!
Oh-Oh-Oh
Revoltution
Revolt!!!
Marginalized groups as one
Cannot be stopped or beaten
When the rich try to keep you down
The rich took everything
Some months are on display
To keep the message down
They will be brought down!!!
Oh-Oh-Oh
Zapatistas!!!
Oh-Oh-Oh
Zapatistas!!!
Victory,
From Unity,
Victory!!!
Big day, big day planned out that night
Improverished mayan armies fight
Against the fearless capitalist might
Still they fight,

Organize!!!
Revolution
Revolt!!!
Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh

i have been looking for these lyrics for forever...it's on the warped 2001 comp.
it obviously has to do with people taking the native people's land away. this was my first a-f song, been hooked ever since.
also to me in the chorus it sounds like he's saying "Zapitistas" and not "Revolution"
Zapatista, Don't Give Up is about the zapatista's strive for freedom and justice from the 1990's until 2002.
This song got me interested in the whole Zapatista/Chiapas movement for freedom. I believe they should have their land and the Mexican government should leave them alone. But this is a good song.
To understand about what the WTO does to farmers and to learn about a modern revolutionary read the book called "ya basta" it is writtin by Commandante Insurgente Marcos and it has a foreward by Noam Chomsky.
Commandante Marcos is the leader of the Zapatistas in Mexico and AF's song Zapatista, Don't give up is about him and the people he is helping
This song doesnt get enough attention. The Zapatistas are an amazing group of people. It is basically as close as we've come to a working anarchy in todays world.
I just got done reading what it has on wikipedia about Zapata, and i think he a freakin awesome dude. i dont know much about the Zaptistas (im readin about them next) all i know is, the guy they named themselves after was great
