It's crowded in worship today
As she slips in trying to fade into the faces
The girls teasing laughter is carrying farther than they know
Farther than they know

But if we are the body
Why aren't His arms reaching?
Why aren't His hands healing?
Why aren't His words teaching?
And if we are the body
Why aren't His feet going?
Why is His love not showing them there is a way?
There is a way, there is a way

A traveler is far away from home
He sheds his coat and quietly sinks into the back row
The weight of their judgmental glances
Tells him that his chances are better out on the road

But if we are the body
Why aren't His arms reaching?
Why aren't His hands healing?
Why aren't His words teaching?
And if we are the body
Why aren't His feet going?
Why is His love not showing them there is a way?

Jesus paid much too high a price
For us to pick and choose who should come

And we are the body of Christ
But if we are the body
Why aren't His arms reaching?
Why aren't His hands healing?
Why aren't His words teaching?
And if we are the body
Why aren't His feet going?
Why is His love not showing them there is a way?
Jesus is the way
Jesus is the way
we are His hands
We are His feet
We are His body
Jesus is the way

I love this song. I agree with it completely. I've been to alot of different churches where I just didnt feel welcome whatsoever. Thats why I ended up in the church I'm in because people opened up to me and made me feel like I belonged. I guess as Christians we are the body of Christ and we need to treat other members of the body with love and compassion. We need to reach out with the arms of Christ and help heal wounded souls with the hands of Christ and help teach the world about Him. We need to open up and love our brothers. And get to know them and encourage them in their walks with Christ. It is not up to us to pick and choose who should come. And shouldnt we want to share the joy we've found with everyone?!

I cant believe that I am the first one to post on this song. This is a song that has so much truth. There is no hidden meaning to it. Because we are the body. Know it, Live it, Love it.

I really love the lyrics for this song. How often do people judge others who come to their church or judge other Christians b/c they have beliefs slightly different from theirs? We are all brothers and sisters in Christ, and we must stand together or perish.

first off this is a beautiful song. and there really is no hidden meaning. ppl in church need to open up. people get discouraged when they go to a new church or do something in fellowship for the first time, and they get discouraged when they see people aren't open to accept them.. so they keep on walking. need to outreach embrace n love it up dawg

Its a truthful song about how some christians are unopen to others and how some christians only pretend to be christ-like and don't truly live it.

This song explains why I left my old church and moved to my new church. Churches need to REACH OUT and love like Christ!

same way for me kholdster.. my church that i grew up in had cliches and.. it felt really uncomfortable. the church i am at now... its like a 180. all it takes is a simple introduction to make a person feel at home. it won't kill ya.. really lol. who are we as sinners to decide who may or may not worship our God in the same building.. simply because of their clothing brand n how shiny their shoes are. if you have time look up the song "my jesus" by todd agnew it talks about that. says something about how jesus wouldn't be accepted in church because "the blood and dirt on his feet might stain the carpet" as he reaches for the hurting and despises the proud. something like that. love it up!

man, i just saw these guys at a praise band conference in atlanta. it was kinda like a private performance for about 150-200 people so they didnt really go "all out" with the show but man, these guys are pretty good for a christian band. i generally dont like christian music, i got nothing against it, its just not my style, but these guys really stand for what they sing about i got limitless respect for that. you could really tell at the conference mark hall(who has an awesome voice by the way) really believed in the words he sand and THAT is what music should be all about. so, anyway, just wanted to say that.. the meaning is kinda obvious so no point in commenting on it. but if you get a chance to see them live, im sure it wont be a waste of time. i mean, of course they cant compare to Pearl Jam or Soundgarden or anyone like that, but as far as a christian band, i cant see anyone who is better (except johnathan and lisa lol)

This is what my church is like. I am the girl. I feel really left out at my church. I'm the "nerd" because I get "good" grades in middle school. (A's and B's)

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
