i disagree i think most of the exies song's are religious in nature. their name is short for the existentialists. i think it's about kicking out from religion and all the madness that religion bring with it.

Actually, the Exies was short for Existentialists, but they were a sect of Beatles fans. I don't think it has any reference to religion. More likely, the song is about a guy who feels like his girl is controlling him, and so he's breaking up with her to save himself from a horrible future.
