I know this song is apparently about 'nothing', but I still think a meaning can be drawn from it if you look for one. Parts of it ('I see the sun behind the night sky' for instance) make me think it could be about seeing something better behind what life is, or knowing that there are better times in the future, and dreaming of those times.
