Dethink To Survive Lyrics

Secret fuhrers got your tongue and bitches got your car
And if it wasn't for the '86 world cup it wouldn't have got this far
But she was un in de in re contrary pissed but almost right
If it wasn't for the snakes in cumberbunds it would happen every night

Dethink to survive

Cartoon monkeys got you hard, it must have been the hair
Though jive bunny stole your creative fire you really didn't care
She was un in re in de decided happy killing time
But there's an eight per cent chance that you know Charles dance
and you're no damn friend of mine

Dethink to survive

Clearly based on the idea that in order to truly make it as a successful person you have to dumb down your ideas and be as bland as humanly possible.

I have no idea what it means, but they have managed to make shouting Danny Baker cool - an act which is no mean feat to say the least. One of my favourites when I saw them live a couple of times - the entire crowd (well, those of us who were cool and not just boring idiots who just stood there on the fringe) would be shouting along with Falco. Absolutely one of the best Live experiences as far as getting the crowd going. Brilliant. Gits for splitting up.

This song is a long stream of brilliant one liners: "Though jive bunny stole your creative fire you really didn't care". A reference to that load of gump that come out late 80s early 90s as I recall where they mixed together old Jive songs into a medley of blandness and talentlessness. Which would be another pointer to the whole Blandness and dumbing down of the title.

holy shit. . . .the '86 world cup

is he talking about Diego Maradona's hand ball against England?!

He may be talking about how the nationalism that was created by the '86 world cup helped get Margaret Thatcher re-elected. That would explain "Secret fuhrers got your tongue and bitches got your car."
