I think the way the lyrics are written here are misleading, it sounds as thought Lajon sings " Another trip to kill" as in killing the time on the trip... but yeh anyway to me this song is about the pitfalls of constant touring "crowded room" "fake delivery" as in being surrounded by fake ppl trying to steal in on the fame.. and also about fearing that the loved ones they leave behind might not be there when they come back
It's about how touring is so great at the start, but after awhile of playing cramped little venues it really starts to become a living hell.
Does anyone know if whoever wrote this song has kids? I think that the part about replacing and filling the space could be referring to kids growing up without their father really around since he is touring 250-300 days a year.

I think if you listen to the last line he say's " I miss my son" so I would think its about touring all the time and I also think he has a boy at home as well............
