Da Hui Lyrics
I won't fuck with Da Hui
I won't fuck with Da Hui
I won't fuck with Da Hui
Because Da Hui will fuck with me
I won't take off on Da Hui
I won't take off on Da Hui
I won't take off on Da Hui
Because Da Hui will fuck with me
A haole with heart, that's all I'll ever be
'Cause I'm not a part of the North Shore society
Stuck on the shoulder, that's where you'll find me
Digging for scraps with the kooks in line!
I won't park next to Da Hui
I won't park next to Da Hui
I won't park next to Da Hui
Because I don't really feel comfortable
A haole with heart, that's all I'll ever be
'Cause I'm not a part of the North Shore roalty
Stuck on the shoulder, I'm not complaining
Digging for scraps, I'm a kook in line!
A haole with heart, that's all I'll ever be
'Cause I'm not a part of the North Shore society
Stuck on the shoulder, that's where you'll find me
Digging for scraps with the kooks in line!
Don't fuck with Da Hui
Don't fuck with Da Hui
Don't fuck with Da Hui
Because Da Hui will fuck with you!
I won't fuck with Da Hui
I won't fuck with Da Hui
Because Da Hui will fuck with me
I won't take off on Da Hui
I won't take off on Da Hui
Because Da Hui will fuck with me
'Cause I'm not a part of the North Shore society
Stuck on the shoulder, that's where you'll find me
Digging for scraps with the kooks in line!
I won't park next to Da Hui
I won't park next to Da Hui
Because I don't really feel comfortable
'Cause I'm not a part of the North Shore roalty
Stuck on the shoulder, I'm not complaining
Digging for scraps, I'm a kook in line!
'Cause I'm not a part of the North Shore society
Stuck on the shoulder, that's where you'll find me
Digging for scraps with the kooks in line!

Da Hui was a big gang of island natives that were notorious for being rather territorrial during the 70's to late 80's. They've kind of chilled since then and are pretty much the equivalent of a surfer gang now.
It's a song about the Hawaiian Surf team Da Hui, who will beat up and/or kill people who mess them up while surfing.
yeah youre right m8, nd nice one for puttin up the correct lyrics, if you want the story bout this song, its on offsprings website heres the link: http://www.offspring.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/Offspring.woa/wa/dexter?releaseName=Splinter&startingTrackNumber=11
i dunno why, but i can't stand this song. I am a fan of every song offspring has written, but i cannot listen to this song... sounds terrible to me
sweetest bass line ever
the constant sayign of fuck does make it annoying to listen to sometimes
Does anyone else think this song is recorded at a lower quality than all the other songs on Splinter. It seems almost as if it was rushed or something. Or maybe I am paranoid.
The quality seems fine to me. :o
But yeah, it's a good song if you want something lighthearted and fun, but if you're in the mood for something serious it's annoying.
this song IS ridiculous and immature-sounding but i LOVE it............yeah its about a surfing group that pick on weaker life-forms by hanging them upside down and tipping their car over etc. a very fun song it's great when listening full blast. ROCK ON OFFSPRING!!!
This song may be kind of fun... if it were by anyone but the offspring. coming from them, it's simply banal, pathetic and way below the standards they set a few (!!) years ago. ok, at least they're trying to criticise something in this song, but globally seen, it's not exactly the most important topic, is it?! when they used to sing about things that really matter... politics, problems in society, suffering in the world, going against the mainstream... besides, the lyrics aren't very profound or original, are they?! repeating everything three times and swearing all the way... don#t get me wrong, i LOVE the offspring, i've been a fan since 3rd grade... just not of the offspring as it exists today. starting with americana, they just got worse, trendy and comercial. (only my opinion...)
i think its cool the way the aggresive "fuck with da hui" parts contrast to the more introverted, and depressed chorus.
I read somewhere that a haole is a certain form of hawaiian literature...not 100 percent on that though
