By far their best track on the Fabulous Muscles CD. It's a shame no one comments on this song.
Xiu Xiu is great. I like this song a lot. I do, however, find it a bit difficult to get my friends to listen to them. I think the band's website scares them off.
I think the band's music scares most people off! Not me though; Fabulous Muscles is a very compelling album with a seriously dark undertow. This is probably my favourite song on it because I think it's the most properly realised thing they've done.
i think that if you are interested in "properly released" which im going to assume is synonymous with "over produced" then you are really missing the whole point of this band and jamie stewarts music. this song is great, all of his songs are great..

Realised is the Queen's English version of realized, so...
This song offers a good contrast between mood and lyrical content. Fun to listen to despite the fact that he's singing about how he and the people he knows had all these aspirations and everything has fallen apart. Where would the world be without ironic pop songs?
this is my favorite xiu xiu song. I lobe it.
xiu xiu's most accessible song? it seems to keep the electronic experimentation and jamie's emotional wailing to a minimum. plus it features a pretty string arrangement.
definitely the most poppy song on their most poppy album. the music has a very positive vibe which gives a nice contrast to the negative lyrics.
