Yes, Yes, Yes Lyrics

Enough is enough is enough is enough is enough is enough is enough again
I called your bluff 'cos you think you're so tough because you can make enemies out of friends
I am getting sleepy
I'm in your command
Yes, yes, yes, I understand
Yes, yes, yes, I understand

(Uh-huh!)

Over and over and over and over and over and over and over again
The Xmas curse of sharing incurred we inferred the sword is mightier than the pen
You are in Atlanta
I am in a band
Yes, yes, yes, I'm in a band
Yes, yes, yes, I understand

A fact is a fact is a fact is a fact is a fact is a fact to misunderstand
And all the detractors who question the crafts have been asked to retract or face reprimand
You are always lying
I am on the lamb
Yes, yes, yes, I understand

Repetition of suspicion
Takes a lie and makes it true

Nearer and nearer and nearer and nearer and nearer and nearer to our demise
The fear we adhere to appears to be steering our ears to where we're only hearing lies
With us or against us
The line is in the sand
Yes, yes, yes, I understand

Repetition of suspicion
Takes a lie and makes it true

The song is on the extra Cd that comes with the special edition of "Everything to Everyone". This is a great song

Indeed, it's on the bonus DVD - grabbed it off there as an MP3. Really is a crime that it's not on the album :)

ah. that must be my problem. i got the "limited edition" version with the three live tracks instead of the "special edition"

Wasn't this the naked song too?

The naked song for Everything for Everyone was said by them that it was (possibly) never going to be released because it was the most foul song they had ever written.

arg. i want the naked song. i've been meaning to make a mix with all the naked songs but since the EtE one wasn't released... giggles

wasn't the Pirate Ship naked track never released? Also, I don't understand the meaning of this song. Anyone have an idea?

The Pirate Ship naked track was Back. I think it got released as a B-side somewhere.

I've never understood how this song didn't make the cut for E2E. It addresses the same topic as "Second Best"--questioning the rationale for the Iraq War--but is a vastly superior song.

Slight lyric correction: The line should be "on the lam," meaning to run from authorities for fear of imprisonment, not "on the lamb."
