I see our stars tonight
Do you recall that light
Or do you ever think of me
And in your world somewhere

Do memories rip and tear
The ones that always keep you hangin on
To all that might have been
And I love you now

And I hate you now
And I miss you most of all
All those times we laughed
The scars that you left

Still I miss you most of all
And by the waters side
The tall grass where we lied
The nights we cried ourselves to sleep

Most septembers now
I break down somehow
Rememberin all we said
And all those dreams we never got to see

(chorus)

Are you somewhere
Without a care
Or are you as alone as I am
Did you ever make it home

I love this song. Right now, it describes how I feel about someone.

"I break down somehow Remebering what we said and all those dreams we never got to see"

Dammit, those lines really strike a chord with me. And the chorus is just perfect...It totally, sums up the way I still feel about my ex :(

This one is pretty obvious. One of my favorite songs ever and the best from Natural Selection. If this song had been released as a single the album would have sold much better.

yeah, with or without you has the same bassline, but U2 failed where Fuel succeeded. This is an amazing song. I agree with metalmaniac11, one of my fave songs ever, too. I don't know which songs were realeased as singles. Have Fuel even bothered to go for it in Britain?

This has happened a couple times in my youth. We had something special, the kind chemistry that is so rare that one would have a better chance to win the lottery. But something pulls her away and the memory of how much I cared for her was so great that I eternally wish that I had my chance with her. I hate her for the sense of lost and love her for who she is but in the end I really just want her next to her.

It makes me stop sometimes and stare up at the sky and wonder if I put her throught the same thing.

    But alas, I don't think I did. =P

Definitely how I've felt about a few people I've liked in my life.

"Are you somewhere without a care Are you alone as I Did you ever make it home?"

Makes my eyes fill up with tears...cause you always wonder if they care about you still somehow regardless of how much time has passed.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
