It's Like Me Lyrics
My conversation is leading nowhere
And we talk of God but still I don't share
So many times that I just never saw the chance
It's like me to never see
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away
It's so like me to never see
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away
The phone rings with news that he's gone
Just the time I shared my heart was prepared and another soul was won
So much truth to tell, I am so glad I saw the chance
It's like me to never see
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away
It's so like me to never see
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away
Sometimes I still never see when perfect opportunities come my way
Would my care increase if I truly believed that a life could be saved
It's like me to never see
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away
It's so like me to never see
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away
And we talk of God but still I don't share
So many times that I just never saw the chance
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away
It's so like me to never see
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away
Just the time I shared my heart was prepared and another soul was won
So much truth to tell, I am so glad I saw the chance
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away
It's so like me to never see
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away
Sometimes I still never see when perfect opportunities come my way
Would my care increase if I truly believed that a life could be saved
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away
It's so like me to never see
When it came, when it went
Now it's gone away

This person had opportunity upon opportunity to share the love of Christ and didn't.
The second verse is a little confusing the way it's worded. I think, though, that he shared the Gospel and was so glad that he had because the person...died? I don't know, that one's a little iffy.
Beautifully done, though slightly repetitive.
sonkissed hits it right on the nail but one correction. The second verse talks about someone calling him n telling him someone had died. He saw this as his perfect chance to tell them about Jesus and he did wich saved another soul.
