There's Only Me Lyrics

You're all I want.
You're all I need.
You're all I've got.
All I see.
It won't be long.
'Till sudenly
you'll find he's gone.

And you'll turn around and see.
There's only me,
from whom there's silence in your heart.
There's only me,
waiting patient to the last.

You wait and see.
One day your love will surely start.
You'll turn around,
you'll find when everyone departs.
There's only me.

You walk in the room.
You take you scat.
You don't turn around.
You don't see me.
I'll make hime go.
You'll find one day he'll disappear.
You'll turn around.
And find that not a soul is here.
There's only me.

This is how I see this song; a man loved someone, who left him. He desperately wants her back, but she's now with another man. He'll wait forever, just to have her back. Essentially, this is doomed; he's too passionate and desperate a person to have a steady relationship with, but he'll wait an eternity for another chance.

To me it seems like a man is in love with an unlucky married woman. He affirms her, that he'll wait for her - no matter how long it takes or how many persons will leave her.

Not necessarily married, but involved with someone, I've been listening to this album non-stop past couple of days, let's me know I'm not alone in my emotions.

A man is married/engaged. She's the love of his life: "You're all I want, you're all I need, you're all I've got.

She's having a "side dish", and no passion for him: "for whom there's silence in your heart" and "there's only me"

He will kill her lover: "I'll make him go"

My Interpretation

His songs all have a religious (if not Christian vocabulary):

To me this is the life story of someone who is refusing to acknowledge God everywhere in all their life. He finds at the last possible moment in desperation of death or rapture had immense regret as he is left behind.
