This song is very sad. If you listen carefully, you'll hear a sound that sounds like a dog whining, or a squeaky wheelbarrow in the background.

i no...this song just makes me really wanna cry like "take a trip down memory lane, you will never wanna go again" but memories are supposed to be good....

This is my favourate song in the album to date. It's really really sad and it's totally brilliant. And the dog whining in the background makes this song all the more dark.

Oh man Phroqex, I think it is a dog whining. Two of my sister's dogs went nuts when this part played over the radio it was hilarious! They looked at the radio as if it was going to attack them. LOL!!!

I think the Song is a kind of an intentional to the song "Re-offender" and if know one knows, Re-offender is about Fran healys parrents relations to each other. In that way, I think Paperclips could be, like a message to his father, like "I don't wanna see your face at my door"´.

I believe this could be about being left or leaving. Or both, in that order. No idea.... I just know it's a great segue to Somewhere Else!
