Bungee Lyrics

she used to live with an indian chief
who gave her the clap that he got from a priest
night after night, i would lay with her pets
like a mailorder bride in a box by the steps

she went bungee jumping,
one fine day.
off the cliffs of our friendship,
and at the bottom she stayed.

when they told me that her body was found.
an astrounat drowned in the long island sound
i tripped down the stairs in my basketball shoes.
and paddled down stream in my father's canoe.
in the kingdom of bungee.
the castle's been stained.
but the kingdom of incest.
still has a mighty fine name.

I actually thought it was more friendship suicide - as in, she's done something to ruin their friendship, and isn't doing anything to attempt to repair it ("and at the bottom she stayed").

It's just awesome, he can make anything sound beautiful, even the lines "theres no wrong way to fuck the girl with no legs" sounds like poetry coming from his lips.

oh man, his songs are so confusing, but I think this one is about a young girl, who comitted suicide and he sings about the perspective of a young man, who liked her a lot and the song is called bungee because the girl was bungee jumping without a rope.. so that's my opinion, it can be meant differently too, of course.. :)
