Jessica Lyrics

jessica simpson, where has your love gone
its not in your music, no
you need a vacation to wake up the cavemen
and take them to mexico

jessica, jessica simpson, you've got it all wrong
your fraudulant smile, the way that you think that the day you die

my body's in trembles infested with brambles
that sharpen the air i breathe
whats on the menu, jessica can you
take down my order please

jessica, jessica simpson, you've got it all wrong
your fraudulent smile, the way that you thinked it the day that you died

tomorrow gets closer a purple bulldozer
is calling you on the phone
your lovelife precedes you, your son in law feeds you,
injections of cortizone

jessica, jessica simpson, you've got it all wrong
your fraudulent smile, the way that you thinked it the day that you died

jessica simpson where has your love gone
its not in your music, so where has it gone?
jessica...

The song uses nonsensical imagery, but makes a very clear point. He's lambasting 'artists' like Jessica Simpson, as well as the soulless trash that they churn out. He imagines Jessica reduced to being a waitress, or old and decrepit being held together by Cortisone injections.

And isn't the line "The way that you faked it the day that you died."

"The way that you faked it the day that you died." could mean that jessica sealed her destiny in the moment she begun to be a faked ignorant popstar

It's incredible how he wrings so much meaning from such utter nonsense.

Ultimately I agree with with likelylad91. That she has sealed her destiny as a faked ignorant popstar. The lyrics: "whats on the menu, jessica can you take down my order please" I at least interpret, that she is such a sellout that she act upon orders from the public.

why is eveyone being a douchetard, saying its meaningsless instead of admitting that they just don't understnad it. of course there's meaning to it's a riducle of the empty, thoughtless, and meaningless lives people like jessica simpson lead. It might also have something to do with them probably not knowing what true, emphatic love is, both in life or for other people since they're so fake and truly do not seem to have deeper more thoughtful sides to their personalities. "Jessica Simpson where has your love gone it's not in your music so where has it gone then?" obviously points this out so does "your love life precedes you"

but does anyone know what he's getting at with the cavemen going to mexico or the purple bulldozer?

Not Valid

The cavemen to Mexico is a reference to when she whisked Tony Romo off to Mexico for a long weekend. The purple bulldozer is I assume a reference to a domineering record/film industry exec. Great song!

Sounds like he's trying to make fun of Jessica Simpson, which she certainly deserves... but it makes no sense, so it defeats the purpose.

By the way, it's "the way that you faked it the day that you died". Which is nonsense.

umm his lyrics are all nonsense, but it doesn't make them any less awesome

hey, well, I write a lot of poetry that probably sounds like nonsense to anyone but me, but it's usually the part of the poem I like best. so whenever I see nonsense, I assume it means something, if only to the person who wrote it.

hehe, I like this song. certainly it is nonsense, but funny how everyone seems to know what he thinks of jessica. so he doesn't have to make it concrete. I like the way he adds lovely melodies to his mockings.
