Baby's Gonna Die Tonight Lyrics

Baby's gonna be alright

And it don't mean I don't love you
When i put a gun to your face
It just means I wanna get rough with you

Baby's gonna be alright

I always figured it was sadism? Sadism, tough love, whatever.

i love this song. it's catchy. it could mean a number of different things. i think it's either about rape, sadism, or tough love. haven't decided yet.

For me the song is about freaking out, doing crazy things and having fun. Normally, to put a gun to another person's face is something threatening and hate-filled. But here it does not mean that the one person is not loving the other one but it means that he or she wants to be rude. This is not supposed to hurt the other person which is expressed by the words "baby's gonna be alright". Looked at that way, the title of the song -Baby's Gonna Die Tonight- is rather ironic or is illustrating how all the nasty things must look to outsiders.

Anyway, this is just my idea of it. "Though love" would be a good general description, although I don't think it is necessarily about love. Maybe it's just a night-lasting crush or something.

I think it's about abusive relationships. How, often, people who are being abused (or, for that matter, abusive) don't realize it. That's how I see it, anyway.

Either that or it's about hardcore S&M.
