i think this song is about someone that's trying to get away from something... and he doesn't wana hear about what the person has to say... ???
i think this song is about a relationship in which two people are really in love but always fighting and lying and never saying the words they mean to say. They call each other names but always end up making up by making out. "If the fire's there, don't put it out," means if there is still love between us, dont leave me and let our love burn out like a fire.
