Blues Drive Monster (English Lyrics) Lyrics

It's as though I've got something on my glasses,
No matter where I look
Today, too, unchanging landscape
Disappoints me
What the heck kind of system is everyone using
To control their emotions
I felt as if I was going insane, and started crying
But I'm sane, I'm sure
Morning Station
I couldn't board the packed train

The era of boys locking themselves away in rooms
Littered with keys
Slipping out from the radio,
An electric monster
The speakers only whisper out
What you shouted at the top of your lungs
I saw the era's chosen hero
Vanquished before my eyes
Power Station
I'll give you as many volts as you want

Blues Drive Monster
Can't you just smash up this melancholy world of ours?
I'm forever waiting

Adults wrinkle their brows
Your laughing voice
And your footsteps, announced your arrival
Drawing slowly nearer
Those guys are holding a pistol
Aimed at your overlarge throat
To think that sort of thing would have any effect on you
Is so conceited
Radio Station
Destory the wall of illusions

Blues Drive Monster
Can't you just smash up this melancholy world of ours?
I'm forever waiting

How many times did you hoist dreams upon your shoulders
And run
Until the night turned into day

Cover art for Blues Drive Monster (English Lyrics) lyrics by Pillows, The

Well, Im not too sure about the station parts.. (that may just be the hook, or English that The Pillows knew?) & how music comes to us.. we hear it early as in the Morning (like a baby).. rock out as a teenager-40 something (Power Station) & then in old age a little melancholy about society to hope to hear it played once again to remember it (Radio Station)

The rest seems to allude to the anime - themes like about tired of being forgotten in a small industrial city where nothing happens, as you’re the little buster brother who has no redeeming skills to escape it. How to be/get noticed since nothing changes and find out who likes you. To learn how to deal with the blues as a kid, what drives you as a teen to adulthood, and how to keep from becoming a monster yet if you do, to be one to fight for your loves be it friends/family - to transform into monster of justice that slays this indifference of how others look down upon you with your own inner strength & no one else’s.

This is one of my favorite Pillows songs. I think the lyrics are about growing up and the general insanity of living in a world obsessed with image and consumerism ("Destory the wall of illusions"). I think the song is talking about how music offers an escape from indifference. The line about being locked in a room littered with keys makes me think that they are saying there are a lot of ways to change things and make a difference, people just need to pay more attention to them and open their eyes.
