Q&A
Unfinished Lyrics
left a tip, but it was never a donation
I took a trip, but it was never a vacation
I took a seat, but I refuse to a number
And so defeated, I proceeded unencumbered
I'd say an ounce of prevention
Is worth a pound of attention span
I took her hand, but it was not in matrimony
I told my side, but it was never testimony
I'd say an ounce of prevention
Is worth a pound of attention span
Spanning all the ages
Turning all the pages
The history of me is incomplete
Everything is Un-
Everything is Unfin-
Everything is Unfinished
I played along, but it was not for recreation
I left my home, but it was not evacuation
I made a pact that I would finish what I started
I admit the fact I was distracted and outsmarted
I'd say an ounce of prevention
Is worth a pound of attention span
Everything is Un-
Everything is Unfin-
Everything is Unfinished
Everything is Un-
Everything is Unfin-
Everything is Unfinished
Everything is Un-
Everything is Unfin-
Everything is Unfinished
Everything is unfin-
I took a trip, but it was never a vacation
I took a seat, but I refuse to a number
Is worth a pound of attention span
I told my side, but it was never testimony
Is worth a pound of attention span
Turning all the pages
The history of me is incomplete
Everything is Unfin-
Everything is Unfinished
I left my home, but it was not evacuation
I made a pact that I would finish what I started
I admit the fact I was distracted and outsmarted
Is worth a pound of attention span
Everything is Unfin-
Everything is Unfinished
Everything is Unfin-
Everything is Unfinished
Everything is Unfin-
Everything is Unfinished

Who in their adult life hasn't looked back and seen only the projects they've started and never completed? This is the mirror song to a previous BNL song called Never Do Anything. In that song, the singer has many grand ideas, but never starts them. In this song, the singer has started many things, but never finishes any of them.
OMG, This song is so cool! Why hasn't anyone else commented?
This song is great. BNL is one of the greatest bands ever. I love their mixture of great music, intelligent lyrics, and original style.
I think this song is about how a person can't say what they've done until their life is over. I'm not entirely sure that makes sense though, but it's just my interpretation.
You know what I think of when I hear this song?
Adult ADD. Someone easily distracted. Has a million different things going but can't seem to see them through.
Either that or someon who just has a problem commiting to things (not quite the same thing). He goes through the actions, but he won't call them by their names.
(i.e. I have a thing about parties. I don't throw PARTIES. I have a few people over instead. We eat and drink. There's music. But don't call it a PARTY). :D
