Bottles breaking on my face are
only your reminder of your love
I lost a lifetime ago
was I dreaming when I knew you? I don't know.

So once again I swim In Reverie
without your love
so long ago I cant remember now
where we began

Smell of burning photographs slides
slowly to my nostrils I try
remember the soft silence of
summer sweating in the evening

So once again I swim In Reverie
without your love
so long ago I cant remember now
where we began [3x]

where we began [3x]

I think the band decides what "the real Saves the Day" is, not emorawkprincez. If you like the old stuff better, that's great, but the new stuff is good too.

This disc is excellent. They changed their sound, and got away from the whiny, pop-punk sound that they had before. It took me a few listens to actually like it, and now it's one of my favorites by them.

Pff. This is the only good album they ever put out, imo. If Conley used himself more for stuff like this, we'd be better off. There are thousands of poppy punk bands out there, and while I admit Saves the Day does better than most at it, In Reverie is crazy good.

i'm tired of all these so called fans who bash anything that came out after TBC or SWYA. -You didn't want their sound to evolve into something more mature. They Did. And frankly, i'm so glad.

I'll admit, i didn't give saves the day a real listen until about the time that sound the alarm came out. But Because of that i was exposed to all of their records (excluding under the boards) at the same time. They are my favorite band now. I love All of their records, for their own reasons, and In Reverie is my favorite. Saves the Day is amazing for being so versatile with their song writing, consistently changing their sound on every record. And each record is pretty flawless, although there are a couple throw aways on UTB.

This album is excellent. With the exception of the vocals, anyway. They actually did something aside from the same old boring emo that they used to do. I give them credit for having the balls to experiment. That takes more balls than to play hard and fast.

This album is perhaps my favorite. the other albums are totally amazing and i'm not refuting that, chris and everyone else are just excellent on all the stuff they put out, but this is like the first time std has been cynical and funny and sarcastic. every other album has either been really sweet7th grade type of relationship cute stuff or just really exotic harsh things and going overboard with how much he's in love with a girl. on this album a lot of the songs make jokesabout the person and show how he can now deal with stuff more realistically and think of other way for things to end than with the person, that every relationship isn't going to end i marriage and that he can stand up for himself. also the musical style is just different as is every album they have put out. and chris' voice for a good deal of these songs is subdued because that is the goddamn message in the songs. for an excited example, look at anywhere with you, i don't think you can find many std songs more energetic than that.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
