Man, this song really speaks to me. There's this chick that I went out with and dude, she just took a piece of my heart with her. I want to be with her again but she's going out with one of my best friends now. I'm not usually the type to just be like this love sick puppy but the way we broke up (mutual my ass) it just left me wanting closure, and until I get it I don't think I'll be ok.
the line "I'd like to toast to all those angels that were always hanging 'round " to me refers to the night we got together. she was my biggest crush in high school, the unattainable woman I wanted the most so when we did get together I feel as though it might have been just sheer luck or something. I don't know.
