oh god. first heard this song during THE O.C. awhile back. had no idea that SoCo was even coming out with a new cd! to me it's just about wanting to be alone with your thoughts and emotions, but even that isn't enough. being with ppl drives you insane, but so does being by yourself.

OMG!!! i'm surprised that 50,000 people haven't commented on this one yet. this is the first song that i heard by SoCo. if it hadn't been for this song, i wouldn't have even bought the cd, and i wouldn't know how great it is!

Go on Launch and watch this video, kids. When I first got North, my favorite song was Space. The chorus just grabs you... Hey! Give me space so I can breathe! You know? I love this song. I think its just trying to say, give me some space man.

this is the coolest song ever. to me it is about how he needs his space...but in the chorus later he says "give me space but i cant breathe give me space but i cant sleep give me just 1 inch i swear thats all i need"its like he asked 4 his space and they backed away and left him alone but then he realized he needs them and wants them back.....maybe its about his gf or just a girl tahts obsessd w/ him and he needs his space but then when she nacks off he noticeses he misses all the attention.....idk maybe....... im just a fan interpreting it how i want idk if this has ANYTHING to do w/ the real meaning.

I'm pretty sure that this song is about how Josh felt while returning home to his family after touring for so long. He's isolated himself from them while doing his work that now upon his return, he feels bombarded by them and their attention and is getting claustrophia. I think he's having to get used to being around all those people who aren't in Something Corporate, you know?

I think this song is about a gf that is really into and bugs u but when they leave u alone u realize that u liked the attention and the actual person the whole time.

i agree with "ThinkingOfTheSummer".... it makes sense you know? but you guys should DEFINITELY get your hands on teh acoustic versions of this song... one was on rollingstone.com and i don't know where i got the other one but the only difference between the two acoustics is that at the part "sometimes it makes me wanna scream" one of them is only piano afterwards, while the other has Andrew singing "oh nooo" gradually going into a deeper and more seductive voice... oh... i want to hear that now... but yea.. good song! my friend and i learned it acoustically and play it for kicks
