It sounds like it's about a guy hooking up with a random girl, he was about to leave the next morning when she stopped him and asked if he was ever coming back. That's when he got mad enough to kill her.

I've got to slightly disagree with you all. I think it's actually a pretty straight-forward song. One night a guy meets a girl in a bar. He knows that a one night stand is a mistake. The next morning they both have to head out of town. He doesn't want it to go any further, but she wants to see him again. When she persists he pushes her away. She hits her head on the concrete and dies in front of all the other people on their way to work. Everyone around is yelling "get up, get up, please start breathing."

This is the most kickass song by 'gainst Me! 'cept maybe anarcho punx. I have the acoustic version off the 7" Cavalier Eternal vinyl, and it kicks arse. It be aboot, simply, how you can make some pretty fucked up choices without thinking them through, and then the consequences can haunt you.

I also think that the guy in the song spent a night with a girl and then killed her. The line "get up, get up, please start breathing" really shows his desperation and regret over what happened.
its about regretting things that youve done and bad decisions. but i dont think he killed anyone, i think he killed himself because of the regret:

I totaly agree with you, exept I think that it's the girl he spent the night with who killed herself either because he wasn't in love with her or maybe it's another girl, his wife or real girlfriend because he cheated on her. So he regrets his actions and consequences.

i think its a reflection on all the fucked up things hes done on drugs....like hooking up with a girl and getting on drugs... then her having an o.d.
