Mutiny on the Electronic Bay Lyrics

it's an into the sunrise aesthetic
let's pretend this is an informed consent
that class division doesn't make an infantry
there is no incentive, no franchise opportunities
and the magazine spreads of fashion models gas masks in hand
it's ok, it's all right, these are situations we learn to live in.
when an invasion can bring a country its freedom
then unconsciousness is true happiness, no, no, i don't know what to say...

It's about the war on Iraq.

An invasion brings freedom.

I'd rather be dead.

Incredible. It's just about accepting war and invading other countries; believing its right due to what you're told - that its for freedom, and not for gain. Just pushing it to the back of your mind, because not knowing and not understanding, and more so not wanting too, leaves your conscience intact when there's so much you're oblivious to. So yeah, the Iraq war.
