In my opinion this song is about a guy who likes a girl that's bad news yet he just is willing to go through pain and confusion.

I think this song is about a guy that keeps on telling himself he's not ,,getting tired" of his girlfriend. In the verses he just simply shows his feelings towards the girl: ,,I can be your liar I can be your bearer of bad news Sick and uninspired By the diamonds in your fire Burning like a flame inside of you"

He then asks himself :

,,But is this just desire or the truth ?"

The chorus starts and here is where he keeps on telling himself that he is not sick of his girlfriend:

,,But I won't go getting tired of you I won't go getting tired of you I'm not getting tired I won't go getting tired of you I won't go getting tired of you I'm not getting tired "

...he won't go getting tired of her...but is that his real desire?

A very haunting song. I love it...

I feel this is just like my relationship... I've been going out with this girl for more than a year, i love her more than anything, yet at the same time the inside, i feel almost tired of her but still i wont go... she loves me more than anything too. "A perfect relationship" they say, and i feel that because of my pride i will never let her go... yet im not sure whether i really want to stay in this relationship or not... thats where i get the: But I won't go getting tired of you I won't go getting tired of you I'm not getting tired . . For some reason when i listen to the song it sounds much more like: "i woke up getting tired of you" but every where i checked said the same thing... but no matter how many times i hear it it sounds like "woke up"

I interput this song meaning that a guy is reasuring a girl, sort of trying to put her insecurities to rest if you will , and that hes also trying to question wether the feeling go more beyond desire.

I think this song is about two cheaters (with a lot of passion towards each other) that are bored in their current actual relationships. But they won't leave the actual relationships because they are don't know if the passion they have is true or not. They like the reassurance the cheating partner brings. Perhaps this girl has a tendency to go for the taken men? seems to be implied.

i first heard this song on triple j and its live @ the wireless program. its such an unbelievable song, and definatly my favourite on the album, in fact if it wasnt 4 this song, i probably wonldnt have bought the album.

I saw these guys live in Spokane a while back. The way they played this song was really cool with only Dave and Chris on stage. Dave was great. During the last verse of singing "Burning like a flame inside of you" he sang "Burning like a flame inside your cooch." And to end the song,"I'm not getting tired of cooch." They are a good band. Huzzah.

This is a really depressing song. I can't be sure of what I think it means, but, I think it at least has something to do with maybe her cheating on him. Hence, " burning like a flame inside of you. " and then he's beating himself up for staying with her, figuring it's his fault he is hurting. Because he says, ' so shame on me for the ruse...the blues. " He keeps telling himself that he'll stick it out and he won't get tired of the situation. and another reason I think it's about cheating is because he says, " one more boy for hire, one more boy to lend a hand to you. "

This song has special meaning for me because it reminds me of a relationsihp i was in. I really cared for this girl but she didn't feel as strongly for me. She used to ask me if I was tired of her yet, but I guess I couldn't take a hint and just put up with a lot of shit. When I first heard this song it blew me away because it reminded me so much of what happened and the fact that even though its been over for a long time, I still think about her and care about her.
