Hyper-Insomnia-Para-Condroid Lyrics

Silence is ringing in my head
Stuck on repeat
Not much longer I'll be dead
So just forget me
I'm losing my mind
And I don't think you could save me this time

And it goes

[Chorus]
On and on
And I just feel helpless
how long will this take to wear off?
On and on
When will I get through this?
Welcome to my own down and out

I'm falling deeper in this hole, to disaster
I'm gripping what I thought control, was falling faster
I'm losing my mind
And I don't think you could save me this time

And it goes

[Chorus]
On and On
And I just feel helpless
how long will this take to wear off?
On and on
When will I get through this?
Welcome to my own down and out

It's dragging on
I'm wearing thin
I can't stop these walls
They keep caving in
It's gone too far
Where's my mind?
Why can't time stop fear this paranoia?

It's a never ending story!
and it starts with me!
It's a never ending story!
And it starts with me!

And it goes

[Chorus]
On and on
And I just feel helpless
how long will this take to wear off?
On and on
When will I get through this?
Welcome to my own down and out

Welcome, welcome
welcome to my own down and out
Welcome, welcome
to my own down and out
(I'm falling further)
welcome to my own down and out

I think this song could be about depression, feeling down all the time and feeling like you'll never make it thru. feeling like life is repetitive and people who dont understand you think your going crazy.

It's clearly about paranoia.

I love this song, its about being paranoid and feeling like your dieing and hopeing that you will get through this state of mind alive.

I think it's more to do with depression, feeling like you have hundreds of problems, it doesn't seem to end, and more just keeps coming. Hence: "It's a never ending story, and it starts with me."

Onto the chorus, this is questioning how long the depression will last, they want to get out of it, but they feel so helpless so they just want to know when it will end... hence: "On and on, And I just feel helpless how long will this take to wear off?"

So yeah, my interpretation of it ^.^ it might not be right... but I can relate to it from that point of view, and when you feel like that, it's bad.

I think it's about being paranoid AND depressed. Basically, his life is going down the drain etc. It's a great song ^^

Yeah I agree. It's about being paranoid and depressed. But I think it could be about almost every mental illness like panic attacks for example.

Are you kidding me? This song is about a bad drug trip. "How long will this take to wear off?" "I can't stop these walls caving in" "When will I get through this?" The singer probably did a Terrance McKeena size dose of LSD or psilocybin or both.

favorite part of the whole song is the bridge
