Clowns (Can You See Me Now?) Lyrics
Can you see me now?
Can you see me now?
Can you see?
All this weeping in the air
Who can tell where it will fall?
Through floating forests in the air
'Cross the rolling open sea
Blow a kiss, I run through air
Leave the past, find nowhere
Floating forests in the air
Clowns all around you
Clowns that only let you know
Where you let your senses go
Clowns all around you
It's a cross I need to bear
All this black and cruel despair
This is an emergency
Don't you hide your eyes from me
Open them and see me now
Can you see me now?
Can you see?
Can you see me now?
Can you see?
Can you see?
Can you see?
Can you see?
Can you see me now?
Can you see?
Can you see?
Can you see me now?
Can you see me now?
Floating forests in the air
Clowns all around you
Can you see
Can you see
Can you see
Can you see me now?
See me here in the air
Not holding on to anywhere
But holding on so beware
I have secrets I won't share
See me here pushing you
If I then deny I do
Contemplate or wish away
If I ask you not to stay
Clowns that only let you know
Where you let your senses go
Clowns all around you
It's a cross I need to bear
All this black and cruel despair
This is an emergency
Don't you hide your eyes from me
Open them and see me now
Can you see me now?
Can you see me now?
Can you see?

This song is about a psychotic break down... lol
My favorite t.A.T.u song. Gorgeous lyrics that are powerful and really paint the picture of the deep distrust of those around you. I grew up with this song, and as I grew older, I related to it more. It's helped me in many ways, too. I started learning to drown out the "Clowns" and not listen to the lies they told me. I could go on and on hyperanalyzing the lyrics and gushing, but I'd be here forever.
I really love this song, but these lyrics are seriously flawed.
I agree, who wrote these lyrics? They are totally wrong. If you are going to plan to write lyrics for a song, write them correctly.
I agree. >_> Someone needs to put up the right lyrics. As far as what it means...i'm not sure. I think it's about someone feeling like they're not noticed by whomever. But hey! I dunno. This song really confused me, for some reason.
This is a strange and cool song... like a lot of tatu's music. What is it about? I really want to know!
This is a good song, but I don't really have a meaning, just an idea for now.
I love all of t.A.T.u's music, the lyrics are correct. Read them and listen at the same time they're right, if you get the album, the lyrics in the book is the same. I have no idea about meaning either. ^_^
These lyrics look right to me. The problem with them is that they really don't come together to form a complete thought about anything. The lyrics that I get meaning from seem to be about a person who is very confused or lost in her world... and maybe the confusing, disjointed way the song was written was meant to make us feel as lost as the singer does... food for thought.
I love this song. The lyrics make no sense to me, though...
