We've Had Enough Lyrics

In the shadows where the heads hang low
You hear voices as the wind blows, asking "can't you see?"
Reminding you to breathe
It's only time before it catches up to you and all your broken luck
I found a better way to get even with my memory
In the shadows where the angels cry
Give us water, give us back our eyes
Our bed's this concrete floor, and it's all we have left to live for
A day we'll never face
We're only second-handed, sick, and lonely
Fighting back the tears and every urge to Van Gogh both our ears
That said, we've had enough
Please turn that fucking radio off
Ain't nothing on the air waving the despair we feel
In the shadows where the heads hang low
You hear voices as the wind blows, asking "can't you see?"
Reminding you to breathe
It's only time before it catches up to you and all your broken luck
I found a better way to get even with my enemies
That said, we've had enough
Please turn that fucking radio off
Ain't nothing on the air waving the despair we feel
That said, we've had enough
Put "Walk Among Us" on and turn it up
Ain't nothing on the air waving the hatred we feel
This is our biggest fear
The only tunes that we hear
Come via antenna through your car raid-ee-uh-oh-oh-no
That said, we've had enough
That said, we've had enough

Creepy video. Love it, though. There seems to be lots of songs about the radio these days..

Yes, great song...and has a Misfits reference! I could ask for nothing more.

i like that it's their radio song, and it's an anti-radio song

"Put Walk Among Us on, and turn it up"...pretty obvious one. Walk Among Us was the Misfits first full length to be released (and arguably their best).

What is there to say about alkaline trio, i just can't believe that in our generation, such a quality band can emerge. they are by far one of my favorite bands. They are probably one of the top quality bands out there. Any other band that sounds like them is just trying to rip off their style of music. And if anyone disaggrees with this. You can take your thought's and shove them straight up your ass. ALKALINE TRIO KICKS MAJOR ASS!!!!!

it's "In the DARKNESS where the angels cry", not shadow...

the misfits i belive are their favorite band and i think derek grant their drummer was in their group for a show or something. i read something about him being in the band for a show or something. they also had a vinyl live recording of last years halloween show and the cover was them dressed up as the misfits

this is an awesome song, i love the chorus, but it sucks when they play it on the radio or mtv cause they blank it out and it sounds awful

when I saw alk3 on tv I was happy for them, they're such an amazing band n they deserve recognition- even though many of their fans might say that they're "selling out"... it's like a promotion- go alk3! lol this is an awesome song, but all their songs are awesome cuz the lyrics are deep n the band just works together well... check out this band if this is the first song u've heard by them- they're worth it

This song isnt really an anti-radio song its just more of a song about being sick of all the same shit getting played all the time like same beats same meanings like in rap and pop (i hate both with a bitter fucken passion) and alkaline trio hasnt sold out i still talk to people about them and they have no clue who the hell they are and who cares if they do start doing pepsi comercials and shit i think id be kinda funny to watch them play radio and support some kinda drink. anyways i think the whole good mourning album is killer
