The Magical Band Of Fools Lyrics
Little green men follow us from town to town
Speaking in riddles of digital sound
Hiding in the shadow of a subway train
Trying to get to heaven with a worm in his brain
Where is the hurdy-gurdy man going now?
Playing such apocalyptical sounds sounds sounds
We are the magical band of fools
You know it ain't easy
You know it ain't easy
A horrific dirge ringing in my ears
It seems we've fool ourselves baby for oh so many years
Living in the trunk of a hollow tree
Trying to get to heaven with a fatal disease
Where is the hurdy-gurdy man going now?
Playing such apocalyptical sounds sounds sounds
We are the magical band of fools baby
We are the magical band of fools
You know it ain't easy
You know it ain't easy
Bloodletting!
Hypnotist!
Repeat after me, 'only fools believe they won't get fooled again!'
Vampire
Organ grinder
In my youth I was bitten by a girl with a rabbit tooth
Oh what's a fool
Oh what's a fool to do
To do
Oh what's a fool
Oh what's a fool to do
To do
We are the magical band of fools baby
We are the magical band of fools
You know it ain't easy
You know it ain't easy
Bloodletting!
Hypnotist!
Repeat after me, 'only fools believe they won't get fooled again!'

Organ grinder!
In my youth i was bitten by a girl with a rabbit tooth!

as all of Dog Fashion Disco's lyrics, these are just amazing. I think a lot of the meaning of the song can be read in the line: "only fools believe they won't get fooled again"
this is my absolute favourite song of theirs and it's a shame no one has commented so far ^^
I think this might be in danger of being the best song ever
Maybe not the entire picture, but from what I see in the lyrics it states a couple things. I think it says that they've pretty much got cult status, the little green men may refer to the collection of rabid fans that go to great lengths to see them live over and over.
Only fools believe they won't get fooled again, referring to themselves as fools... I think that may be related to record dealings. At the time they switched labels.
Cool song. Seems to be just about morbidity in general, probably no real meaning to it, just an idea or concept about a band. I think it's "rabid tooth" though, not "rabbit's tooth." Anyone know if the "organ grinders" line is a reference to the Manson song "Organ Grinder?" Perhaps just a nod to Manson?
